We are MyWorkChoice: Trent

My name is Trent, and I’m a member of the MyWorkChoice community in North Carolina.

My life has taken me through some different careers, from working in Nascar as a tire technician to working in warehouses, but no other job has given me the ability to be there for my kids like MyWorkChoice.

The MyWorkChoice Difference

I’ve been working for MyWorkChoice for over a year and have worked over 300 shifts. As a single father, MyWorkChoice has allowed me to be a parent and an employee and work a full 40 hours. In previous jobs, I would not have been able to be there for my girls at a moment’s notice or take time off to take care of them when they’re sick without penalty. If you need to get in touch with managers when life happens, you have that contact.

The flexibility that MyWorkChoice offers has enabled me to be there for the important moments. As my daughters continue to grow, they’re becoming more active and engaging in extracurricular activities outside of the classroom. When they come to me asking for money for field trips or fundraisers, I’m able to support them in that way as well, and it feels good.

Experience

MyWorkChoice has allowed me the ability to learn new skills and work in multiple roles, growing my skillset. MyWorkChoice doesn’t feel like a temp service, it feels like a career. With MyWorckChoice you want to come to work because you’re allowed to grow and work around your life. For me, the journey has been both interesting and educational. I’ve learned a lot in a short amount of time from the wonderful people in this company. The management has encouraged me to become a better employee, allowing me to learn new things, instead of setting a limit on my growth.

Off the Clock

Working for MyWorkChoice allows me to be able to take time away from work and spend it with my family. Currently, both of my daughters are into slime, having friends over and traveling. We spend a lot of time with my family as well.

This job has allowed me to be a full-time dad and a full-time employee and be happy about it.
